For authors

We map where web-fiction titles are being read and advertised. If you wrote one of them, some of what we have collected is about you, and you should be able to see it.

What we can show you

• Every platform carrying your work. Not just the one you signed with. Some titles in our catalogue appear on more than a dozen.
• Which brands share an owner. AnyStories, Readink and NovelSnack are one company. They do not present that way, and a contract with one can put your book on the others.
• The title your book is listed under. Web fiction is renamed constantly between platforms, often without the author being told.
• Who is advertising it. We collect social media adverts for these books. If someone is running ads for your story, that is worth knowing — it means it is earning.

What we cannot tell you

Whether any of it is licensed. A book on fifteen platforms may be entirely above board — these contracts often permit sublicensing. We can only show you where your work appears. What that means for your contract is a question for you, and if it looks wrong, for a lawyer. We are not one, and we will never tell you that you have been wronged, because we cannot know that.

Before you sign anything

Writer Beware publishes contract analyses for most of the platforms in this catalogue, including GoodNovel, Webnovel, Dreame and the NovelSnack group. They are free, specific, and written by people who read the contracts. Read them first.

Correcting your page

Every book page has a claim button. Claiming lets you fix the description, add titles your book is published under elsewhere, and tell us a listing is one you do not recognise. We would rather hear it from you than guess.
